• 李向阳,男,汉族,1962年10月生于江西省莲花县。1978-1982年在长春地质学院学习,获学士学位;1982-1984年在华东石油学院北京研究生部,获硕士学位。1984-1987,留华东石油学院东营校本部,任勘探系讲师。1988年选派英国留学,任英国地质调查局访问学者。同年获英国环境资源研究委员会博士生奖学金,1991年获英国爱丁堡大学博士学位。1992年-至今,任职于英国地质调查局,历任副研究员,研究员, 高级研究员首席研究员, 特聘高级首席研究员,研究室主任。2007年-2010年,曾兼任英国爱丁堡大学多波地震学教授;2008年12月,经中国石油集团公司推荐,中组部、科技部和财政部组织评审答辩,为“千人计划”首批引进人才。
  • 李向阳教授是国际上地震波各向异性理论方面的知名学者和公认的多波地震勘探和裂缝预测技术专家。长期从事多波地震勘探,地震各向异性及地震裂缝预测达20年之久,在重大国际会议和国际权威学术杂志发表论文百余篇。李教授领导的爱丁堡各向异性研究室(EAP)是一个国际学术研究联合体,获得多家石油公司的资助。主要是针对地震各向异性在石油勘探开发中的应用作了广泛的研究。EAP是全世界唯一的一家以地震各向异性为研究主题的国际学术创新团队。李向阳教授与中国石油行业一直有着长期的合作关系,从90年代初期开始就经常回国讲学,曾担任中国石油大学的兼职教授。特别是从2001年以来,李教授与中石油和中石化在多波地震学和地震裂隙检测方面开展了的长期合作,包括理论方法研究和实际生产应用及技术培训、成果转让。为此,李向阳教授荣获了2007年度中华人民共和国国际科学技术合作奖。
